I have good credit, used it to buy my streetglide, and am now using iton my rk. I belong to th state employes credit union, rates were the same and hd did a little better on helping. I am happy
Dont finance. If you dont want to pay cash then find something cheaper.
As cheap is interest is right not there is NOTHING wrong with financing your toys providing your are not upside down with your loan and you can afford the payments.

That's a good point provided the money used to buy the bike would rather be invested into something that pays a decent rate. But odds of that are very slim.
Most finance a high ticket item cause they dont have those said funds. Which might be alright in some people opinions.
Bank really isn't paying you much to keep your money in there bank now a days, put a descent downpayment to keep the payments down and put money on principal whenever you get a chance. Not that I'm looking for a new bike but too bad HD didn't do deals like the auto dealships where they offer a special interest rate.
