Default 2001 Road King speedo

Hi everyone
I have a 2001 Road King that loses its speed ometer when bike is at operating temperature. Was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and how did you fix it. It is the magmarelli model.
Thanks

You report having a 2001 Road King
Magnetti Marelli EFI
The speedometer is loss when bike is at operating temperature.
*Does the LCD odometer still record miles/kilometers driven?
If the LCD odometer still records miles/kilometer driven
then perhaps the speedometer face is becoming unglued and needle is getting stuck or the stepper needle motor could be getting stuck.
*If the LCD odometer is not functioning then perhaps the speed sensor requires cleaning or replacement.
Does the speedometer light up? Warning lights?
Details make a difference..
