I've ridden in 100+ degrees w/ 90%+ humidity for hundreds of miles in Texas... that's just another summer going to get something to eat then hitting the Koffee Kup for pie in Hico for dessert on the way back home.

Hydration... mesh jacket... hydration... summer gloves... hydration... Tourmaster Air Solution boots... hydration... Anti Monkey Butt powder... did I mention hydration?

I rode 456 miles this past Saturday, beginning at 4:15am and 75°, up to 5:45pm which was down from 101° in Atlanta traffic. I drank so much that I'd gained 4 pounds over Friday morning's weight.

I believe 118 is the hottest I have ridden. Best riding has always been in the 90's after the sun goes down and in a t-shirt.

When temp goes above 80 the enjoyment factor starts declining. Depends on humidity and cloud cover too.

To and from work every day last week, 100°F+ on the ride home. It doesn't bother me, but on the weekends I try to get out in the early morning as it's much more comfortable. I do not subscribe to ATGATT (though I should), but t-shirt, jeans and boots is my summer riding attire. Helmet optional when riding out of state, which is most of my riding. I dress for comfort.

If your manties are soaked with sweat by the time you get to the bike, it's still not too hot to ride.
