Default umph!

4th gear off the rev limiter set at 6,200, click into 5th and the front end lifted @ 150 plus with a slipping clutch last week. New lock up clutch, clutch frictions and steels, new primary chain, vibration damper, early adj shoe and were ready one more time. Hang on!

Default easy

99% of the time feet on the pegs with a 1,000 miles plus last week between san jose and long beach, 2x with a little rain, dark and wind in the mix.
feet down and I'm on my toes right side, flat footed left side.
it's a rocket and averaging over 50 mpg.

Default Thanks.

Logged 40 hours on the hour meter and rolled at least 2,000 miles this month, san jose to san diego 3x, rain and shine, dark and wind without a hiccup.
A nearly famous Dr. Willie in Long Beach dialed the suspension in, we're now handling like a slot car one more time. Also installed a fresh clutch from Rivera with a Lock Up unit and a Fisher Vibration Damper. The ride home was unreal, finally hookin up without noticeable clutch slippage, just keeps on keepin on. Chain case sounds like a sewing machine.

hiccup

Think I've seen this bike on another forum, not sure. Am hunting down info on this displacement/turbo combination as am doing the same thing. 8:1 pistons are the only thing holding the project up.

Few questions on build:
Still running reliably?
Did this turbo placement require an oil pump?
Oil cooler?
Is the Primo Rivera clutch still holding up?
Did you retain the compensator?

Have nitrous on my bike already - gonna try to retain w/a window switch, but not sure if practical or not.

Attached early fab pic below

Default easy so;ution

added the Aerocharger after 75,000 miles on the 124" twin cam. seems the boost started pushing the head gaskets after 4,500 miles. motor is at Hyperformance for a complete rebuild...after 80,000 miles..cross country, drag strip and Bonneville.
The Aerocharger utilizes a self contained oil bath that's good for 700 hours at maximum rpm.
No oil cooler on my Dyna since day one.
Primo Rivera clutch had at least 130,000 miles when we added the Turbo, started slipping with increased throttle...Solution.. fresh clutch, silver spring and the lock up unit..No more slipping...
Added a Fisher Balancer compensating sprocket...
Pistons are CP special built that are 8.1-1. When they were ordered we had 2 sets built. Just happen to have a set left over that are for 4 1/8 cylinders.
Nitros, my Dyna very seldom experienced 50% throttle, seemed to catch traffic or ran out of road at a blinding rate of speed, on the back tire occasionally. Gearing is 24 transmission x 40 rear wheel.
You might consider an inter cooler also.....
Hope this helps. ray
