6 speaker setup
Just purchased a 4 channel 500 watt amp and was wondering how I could run two extra speakers. This is a 2 ohm system. In order to get power to the rear speakers I have to tap into the back of the radio wire harness speaker outputs and run them to the amp input and then out to the rears. I usually run with out my tour pak unless we are traveling so I will be purchasing some lid speakers. When I have the tour pak on I would like to get sound out of the pods as well thus adding two more speakers. Can this be done and how? Thanks in advance.

1. Add another amp. You could mount a pbr300x2 in the tour pack itself or in the fairing with the Hogtunes 2nd amp bracket for the tour pack speakers.
2. Get another set of 2 ohm speakers and wire them in series with the J&M on your rear channels.
3. Run them off the head unit.

Ok, sorry I left out the fact that I have 2 ohm JM Rokkers in the rear pods, I will be purchasing 2 ohm spkrs in the lids, and I have the Rokkers in the fairing. Does running the speakers in series affect the impedance? Also, does it push the amp harder? Now, if I wire the 4 rear speakers in series and want to remove the tour pak how will this effect the lid speakers, will they work since I have removed the others and they are in series?

IMO, the options stay the same. Run the lids and fairing speakers off your main amp. Then either have a separate amp for the tour pack pods, run them in series with the lids, or run them off your head unit.
Running them in series will effect the output of the amp because you have doubled the resistance.

Good question.
You should probably contact JMJOHN by pm and have him guide you with what you want to do since you are using all his products.
