Yeah im running two amps now....tn4.900d and a tn2.600d but they are heavy and take up most of the remaining room in my saddle bags. Im thinking of going with the 4 PBRs because of their efficiency and their size. I imagine I can put two in the fairing and two in the bags. I just hate the idea of having them in the fairing because I dont want to take it off repeatedly just to adjust gains.

I run a pair of distro blocks in my fairing, one for ground and one for power.

They manage the power loads for my 2 air compressors and the two PBR amps.

Interesting idea, how did you determine amp load and wiring size? Is the line side fused?

But hey...cant spend it when im gone...so may as well enjoy it now.

Time to put a 'pizza box' on that thing ESHAW !!!

I wouldn't 'upgrade' amps unless you went with 2 Biketronics, Alpine PDX4.150, JL 600/4, etc... I wouldn't put a lot of time or money into a lateral move....JMHO !!

+1 I agree with GP Eshaw. . . When I upgrade amps, one of the three GP mentions will be my next move. I've always loved his Alpines. But I won't be getting a divorce over the Alpines. . Still under negotiation. . lol

Oh that was just an idea. My next amp will be one of the ones mentioned above. I also am curious about how the kappa 6x9s sound, specifically the 693.11i speakers. I wanna see how they react to another TN4.900D....because the TN2.600d is going back to Amazon. Why i decided on a two channel amp is beyond me. But so far, I am more than happy with the SS amps.

I have a set of the infinity 6 X 9's you speak of. . . They are insanely loud just like the 6.5's but you will find running ALL infinity the bass will be lacking. Stick with the Pioneers. The Kickers and Fosgates have great bass too but they don't go as low as the Pioneers. I would be happy to send them to you Eshaw and let you be your own judge. If you don't like em just send em back. They are brand new. Since you have a set of Pioneers in each bag you might only want to switch out one set with the infinity's. :)

Well if thats the case then i'll pass. I was just wondering how well they would sound getting 225 watts each. Oh well...back to dreaming up another hair brained idea...lol.

reading your first post and then this post I sure in the hell hope you're not considering (4) PBR300x4 amps because that will be wasted $ and a futile effort.
