Default Installed Sony DSX-S210X, BT4180, BT7P1's & TSD6902R's-Not impressed

Don't get me wrong It sounds really good with my Ipod, but I honestly thought it would be louder & clearer when cranked up. It just doesn't give me the "WOW" factor. Is there something I'm missing? settings???
Please LMK, I've heard nothing but great things about this combo, and Bill at BT was very nice & helpful when ordering his stuff (had me on the phone for about 15 mins)

mmmm. weird, this is about as good as it gets (without stacking amps in the tourpack or multiple amps).
I cannot comment/advise on this setup as I have not heard it (knowingly)

sure Others will comment...

assume pre-outs used? if not, "there we go"... speaker outputs of HU will distort at a point. Pre-outs will not...

Something's messed up with the thread....same thing in the classifieds. Seems back to normal.

Pioneer what's your thoughts on the OP's issues with the BT set up?

A couple of thoughts:

Is the polarity right on every speaker?

Are you using the RCA pre-outs?

My 4180 sounded good when my EQ was flat on my Kenwood, but really woke up when I played with the EQ. Does your Sony have EQ settings you can play with?

On your bags, what lids are you running? Are you sure there is a good seal with the bottom? Are you running with them facing the rear wheel?

I also added the hog liners (per your suggestion Pioneer). Could that effect the OP's poor performance?

I guess it could. I put the Hog Liners in mine the same time I did the stretched bags and speaker lids.

IT WASN'T ME

to OP... check what Pioneer74 said. if no liners, throw a bath towel in each bag.

I still have to do my liners and I do not ride without bags filled with something...
