I have been having no luck pairing my S5 to the Sony M70BT. I turn on the bluetooth have discovery on and it says that it's paired with the radio but it isn't. I have gone to the set pairing screen in the radio and had the bluetooth icon flashing and again it's just stuck there. Tried unpairing and repairng with no luck! Anybody else have this problem? I did download the NFC in google play and that does the same think, says it's paired then gives me a message that it failed.

 

Download app remote. That's the program that you need. If that doesn't work, call sony to see if your units are compatable.

 

Thank you krying game for responding. I did download that app but still couldn't connect but found a solution to share for S5 owners with Sony decks. Download NFC connect from google play store and scan and began the pairing but make sure you take off any covers you have and touch the phone to the stereo dial and it connects instantly!

 

Glad it worked. My only gripe with NFC connect is, it takes about 10 seconds (at least with my G3) to make the connection. Otherwise, NFC and App Remote are spot on.
