JL Audio M200x2 Amp w/ C3- 650 Speakers
Has any one installed a JL Audio M200x2 amp with C3-650 Speakers with the factory Boom Radio? I am curious on the sound quality as well as the size of the M200X2 amp. I have heard good things about the Fosgate PBR300x2 amp, but since I live in Costa Rica I am leaning towards the marine grade amp with the year round high humidity levels, not to mention the potential leaks from the fairing vents. Is anyone running the C3-650 speakers with the Fosgate amp?

Although very expensive I've had some experience with the JL C3-650's . Insanely loud and clear with excellent bass powered correctly. At 399.00 to 499.00 a set they can get expensive if you blow a set. The C5-650X hit harder and last longer. C3's sound dam good with the JL 600/4 amp. If you got the money go for it!!

No doubt of the quality of the JL stuff, I have 4 of their marine 7.7's and a 12" sub pushed by a JL marine 700/5, with an alpine head unit in my boat, sound quality is beyond great!!! I have the PBR300/2 (chose this because of price point, can always change out to a JL later) and the C5-650x on the way, should have it all here by this coming Friday and looking forward to the install. The JL amp is larger and as for fitment I haven't taken the outer fairing off yet but will be doing soon, so someone else on here might give you an idea as far as fitment issues with the JL amp.

Lol . . The C3's are nice . . . . Until you hear the C5's . . . . The C5's are really nice . . . . Until you hear the Z's . . There is no equal to JL for sound quality. Speakers you definitely don't want getting wet on a motorcycle!

Go with the Biketronics Pro's or the Moto 602's. After numerous sets of JL speakers in my bike I've found myself replacing the crossovers way too much. Not sure if it's from the weather or what but they don't seem to hold up very long. aside from that. The speakers are excellent.
