??? on installing xm radio to 2013 road glide
I need some info from some of you that been there already.. the bike I have is2013 road glide ( passenger speakers, controls, intercom)
Just bought
xm radio kit 76404-06
wiring harness 70169-06A
bracket 76316-06A
one dealer ( just got prices from) said the wiring harness is 70172-06 and the other dealer (one I bought the parts from) told me I need wiring harness 70169-06A
to install the xm radio kit and antenna bracket was no big deal. As far as the harness was able to switch the plugs from the new harness from the old harness for the following plugs: radio, cb, xm radio kit, intercom . But starting looking for the following plugs: left rear speaker control, right rear speaker control, front intercom, passenger headset plug. I cannot find them in the fairing. They sure know how to hide them. I am wondering if I got the wrong harness or the plugs are hiden under the gas tank. When I spoke to the parts guy they all said it was just unplug and plug the new harness in and I might need them to flash the radio.. Did not say anything about removing the gas tank.. Just wondering if how much of a pia is getting to the other connections.
thanks
