cvo speaker ohms

Thank god the delivery on my CVO was late!!! I am so glad that I decided on the regular roadie. I have heard nothing but problems from local guys with CVO bikes and trying to upgrade sounds. Hell, a few of em traded the CVO models for the regular ones....just so the sounds could be upgraded. And to think...at one point prior to coming on this forum, I was one of the ones who actually believed the boom system and its $1800 price tag was a good deal. Its amazing how the power of marketing works.

Well, like I said...looking back on it I am SO GLAD that the delivery date got changed. I cant believe that I was willing to spend $30k on a bike, AND put $20K down on it and STILL have to do upgrades. No knock on the CVO guys, but it just made more sense to me to buy a bike flat out and just upgrade with the good stuff over time. But hey...to each his own. Go ahead and get you one...you'll be the talk of the local parking lot at least...until another CVO or custom bike shows up...

My uncle and I have had a conversation about this before..... And from with I'm gathering he may have been right about a cvo sound system. I was saying it was regular boom equipment in the 12 cvo street glide, he was saying that the cvo had its own stereo equipment and it not boom speakers. If you guys are saying that they are 1 ohm speakers in the cvo then it must not be standard boom stuff?
