Default Pioneer vs. Biketronics 6x9's

I'm just curious about this. Has anyone done a comparison between the popular, Pioneer TS-D6902R 6x9's vs. the Biketronic Titan II BR479's.

i have the Pioneer installed and love them. They seriously kick *** but I'm just curious about BT's. I'm thinking of switching out my PBR amp and going with the BT 4180. The gang at BT do not recommend the Pioneer 6x9 with their amp. Other than trying to generate more business, I'm curious about any performance differences, which justifies the BT 6x9's.

Pioneer - great overall sound and best bass I've heard from a 6x9.
Biketronics - best quality sound, waterproof, but less bass than Pioneer.

Just out of sheer curiousity what was the reason BT does not recommend the Pioneer TS-D6902R 6 X 9's? I would think that is a perfect amp for those speakers? GP puts 150 watts to em and they hit hard?

I've never heard of Biketronics recommending not to use another product to try to sell their own. Hell, they tried talking me out of the 7.1's for my fairing and using the 6.5's so I would have the same speakers in parallel, and that would have saved me money.

I would assume they wouldn't recommend it because the Pioneers are not rated for the power their amp puts out. Pioneer only rates them at 80w RMS and the BT 2180/4180 is rated at 180w RMS at 4 ohm.
