Long story short. I totaled my RK and I'm looking to purchase a 2012 FLTRX in the next few days. I want to put in a new amp and speakers and keep the HU stock, for now. My budget is around $400. I'm planning to run speakers in the bags, but it's at a later date. What are speaker/amp set ups are people running? Thanks for your input!

If I had a Fugly, and under your wants and needs, this is what I would do.
Put the 4.520 on one side of the fairing. Replace the stock speakers and do the tunnel mod, making sure they are all 2ohm to take full advantage of the amp.
Then, when lid speakers are added, I'd get a 2.350 and put it on the other side of the fairing.
But that's me.
