Your install will be very simplistic considering your power wire is already hooked up. You will love the Kickers with the X2!! That Arc amp (if you choose to sell it) will sell as soon as you put it on Ebay if the price is right!

What is the ARC amp worth? Are the speakers worth anything?

I concur with Todd on this. I've had both amps running same Focal speakers really no neglible difference IMO. If anything I think Arc may sound ever so slightly cleaner probably because of it's better signal to noise ratio. But on bike moving not really going to be able to discern. I do like Arc's dual gains better but both good amps for bikes.

Amp has plenty value. . . Speakers not so much.

on eBay the KS 125.2 will pull in $175 tops but more realistically around $150. Here on the forums, it's like a swap meet so I wouldn't expect them to go for $150 but more like $100.

I just had 1 of these given to me and I bought 2 more only because they were $75 each and I tested them for working condition before purchasing.

I'll go back to my original suggestion. Put the speakers in first. you might just like it. I like ARC amps but not a fan of their speakers.

IMO a pair of Infinity 62.11I on that amp would be pretty kick-azz

+1 for what Nutz said...Or if you want to save some money you could put in a pair of JBL P662 6.5" speakers instead of the Infinity 62.11i. Similar performance at about $82/pair off Amazon. That would be cheaper than replacing the amp and speakers.

+1 on Nutz suggestion as well. But I gotta tell you Gnarl78 those JBL's you speak of are no where near the quality of the infinity 62.11i's. For the $30.00 price difference the OP would be money ahead buying the infinity's. Now the JBL 6 X 9's totally different story.

The price difference is closer to $50 presently. Both speakers are made by HK and the designs are similar, but the Kappas' are more efficient according to the specs.

I bought a set last week of the Infinity Kappa 62.11i for $108 from a website off a google search. Brand new with warranty and free shipping. It is mated up to the Ks 125.2 ($150) and it is a very nice setup for $258 and sounds great.

Yes Sir! I've bought at least 10 sets of those speakers for that price. I'm very familiar with the website you speak of! Awesome spreakers. Awesome set up! Thanks for sharing!
