2014 Touring Radio Flash Question
#31
I stop off at a Harley dealership today to get an appointment to have my 2016 street glide flashed. I was told they can only flash for factory radio and amps. I was told that they cannot flash radio for aftermarker parts. Do they know what they are talking about. I told them it is the same as boon audio, 0 amps and 4 speakers. I was told that the digital tech would not find the aftermarker parts. I said that is because they are not installed yet. Can Harley flash my radio or do I need to send it off?

And don't tell them shix about any of ur audio plans cause they will indeed try and **** block u on the flash in an attempt to keep u buying the Boom shix.

The problem is, Harley caught on to all the Aftermarket sales and HD losses. The Dealership no longer has the ability to flash a head unit for any configuration, unless the Harley brand P&A or orig equip is installed and physically connected. This is a Canbus system on these bikes and every component can be detected if connected or not, without the BCM recognizing the component exists, no flash can be sent to BCM

Flash needed again?
I recently changed out my bars on my 2019 Street Glide. I had to disconnect the wiring in order to remove the front fairing. When I put it back together, I noticed that the sound was not the same. There were no mids and hardly any base coming from my system. I have the Boom audio Stage 2.
My question is does anyone know if I am going to have to get my radio flashed again because it was disconnected?
