Default left speaker cutting out

ok so i just got rid of my polk mm651's after blowing two sets and switched to the biketronics 7.1's but now im wondering if it was even a speaker problem lol.. while riding a couple hours the other night my left speaker cut out completely a couple of times were i had to turn my radio off then back on again then everything was fine, any ideas?

Swap speakers left to right / right to left. If problem moves to other side, you got a bad speaker

sounds like an intermittent wiring connection issue. double-check your wiring
