RF has a new 4 channel class a/d amp that looks interesting although I haven't seen any feedback on it from motorcycle riders yet:

I LOVE to spend money on audio stuff, but there's no way I'd buy this amp.

He's only running 4 speakers so they'd each get 100 watts. Personally, I'd look at a 600 watt amp to give you the option of powering 6 speakers but the cost goes up.

Going to be tough to find a 600 watt 4 channel amp without breaking the bank and keeping FM reception. Something has got to give. This is going to sound counterintuitive But I think from a value standpoint his best option for what he wants to do is to buy the 4180 and call it a day. He can then run 4, 6 or 8 speakers off one amp and maintain his FM. Otherwise when he adds his lids this winter he will have to buy another 2 channel amp.

Thanks for all the ideas.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a 4180?
My passsenger doesn't like the tour pak pod speakers, because they are against "vibrate against her legs", so I'm thinking of disconnecting them and just running the fairing speakers and the speaker lids. What is your opinion on this?
Also, another question:
The Infinity Kappas are 2 ohm speakers and the Pioneers 6x9 speakers are 4 ohm. Does this play any part in my amp selection?

Not sure how the tour pak speakers vibrate against your girls legs? I would think you are referring to the lid speakers? Anyway to answer your second question as long as you have a 2 or 4 ohm compatible amp you can run both 2 ohm and 4 ohm speakers.

Biketronics 4180 amplifier. 4x180 watts at 4 ohm, 4x230 at 2 ohms.
Not if you run them on separate channels and the amp is 2 ohm stable.

The PBR300X4 is not compatible with the Infinity 62.11i speakers due to them being 2 ohm speakers. Secondly it will not generate enough power to feed the Pioneers in the lids effectively. In your situation if it were me I'd Just go straight Kicker. KSC67 for the fairing and KS693's for the lids powered with the X4. You'll be happy with that set up!
