Default Problems setting up my CB Radio

I have a 2013 Tri Glide. Trying to set up my CB radio so I can use my headset. Tried this a couple of weeks ago, husband could hear me (he has a 2006 Gold Wing Trike) but I couldn't hear him. Tried to figure it out with the help of the group we rode with (all Gold Wingers). Husband's headset/CB works, mine not. Using it for this group to communicate. Read the owner's manual, still can't figure it out. Prefer to use our Cardo Scala G9s, but husband unable to switch out headsets. Don't have time to get to dealership, 45 minutes away from where we live. Any help/suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

If it is like older models, there is a volume setting for radio and yet another for CB. Might also have to adjust squelch. Fewer bars on squelch means more reception.

Did you have the speaker switch on the dash panel set for the headset? It has 3 positions: 1-radio & CB play thru fairing speakers, 2-Radio thru speakers, CB thru headset, 3-Radio & CB thru headset. The headset also has a separate volume control. Another thought, was the squelch adjusted correctly? Hope this helps. (I posted the same answer in the Touring Section)

Believe that I did have the speaker switch in the correct position. I need to check the volume control and the squelch. Back last November, the cb worked. I could hear the group through the speakers, but not a couple of weeks ago. I just need a day where I can focus on it. Thank you for your suggestion/help. I really appreciate it!

If the battery has been disconnected or bike been serviced(you never know what they screw with) all settings could have changed.
