Well, I finally placed my order. For now, I'm just getting the 7.1's and the 4180, will have to wait to get additional speakers. When I called Bill at biketronics, I was leaning toward just getting the 2180, but after his explanations, the 4180 was the way to go for me. Now I'm waiting for delivery. Looking forward to this for a long time.

I got the 2180
It came in mail today

i am gonna run 4 Kickers CS65 for awhile in parallel ..fairing and lowers
no need for fader

gonna upgrade to Biketronics speakers too


The 4180 seem to be too much power per speaker for me unless i was to add lid speakers
then i could do 4 speakers on front channel and 2 on back

if i did that i wouuld do pioneers 6X9 and put a second BT2180 in the bag
i probably never will

just my opinion
and it is probably not right but I am happy to have my new Amp

 

I've been wanting to do this upgrade since I bought this bike in '11, just didn't know which route to take, and other things were of more priority.
