Default Can a PBR300x2 run 4 speakers?

I have an '08 Street Glide with a stock head unit pbr300X2 amp and Polk MM651 speakers, in the process of installing lowers with speaker pods. I already have a set of RF power T165 speakers, was wondering if i could run these in the lowers keeping the Polk's in the fairing.Don't want to spend any more money on it right now so if I could use what I already have without destroying it that would be great.

No you can't..........you would have to run 2 sets of 4 ohm speakers with that amp. Your Polks are 2.7 ohms....

Kevin it's possible yes, but not recommended sir. You would have to wire the lower right and fairing right speaker in series bringing the ohm load to 6.7ohms that the amp will see on that channel. This will effectively cut your power output of the amp by 1/2 or better.

As GP pointed out (if you read between the lines) pick your best speakers, which are usually going to be the ones "in your face". Connect the amp to those speakers and adjust your gains. Connect the other speakers to the head unit for now. Mix-matching speakers of varying ohms with a 2 channel amp only leads to wiring issues.

Thanks for the answers , that leads to question #2 can I run these speakers with dissimilar ohm loads on a 4 channel amp without causing damage to speakers or amp.
Or can I run 4 polks with my 2 channel?
trying to get the best I can that will work with what I have.
The big question is can I get away with buying 1 thing as in a new amp keep my speakers
or new set of speakers keep my 2 channel amp

Thanks for answers or opinions in advance, that's why this forum is so great lots of knowledgeable people willing to help others.

You can run any 4 channel amp, that is 2 ohm stable.
