Default Sony beeps when ignition turned off...

Is there ANY WAY to turn that annoying beeping off when pbr is wired by speaker level inputs? Very annoying.. Ugh!

I'm not quite sure, but you may be hearing the warning that you have left your iPod in the tray? Check manual to turn off

No, that's a separate issue and can be turned off. What I'm talking about is the warning to remove faceplate. 3 sets of 3 beeps.
I don't think there is a user way to disable it. That's why I was asking if there was a "hack" to turn it off.. Pisses me off and it's embarrassing...

On my Sony the beep can be turned off through a menu setting. Check out your manual and see about yours.

Edit - Never mind, wrong Sony, couldn't find the "Caution Alarm" on -off setting on yours!

Funny what irritates people...that beep drives me crazy...and I have one in my wife's SUV that does it too.

You can turn it off on the Sony DSX-S310BTX, hold the round **** in until the menu comes up, scroll down till you find the beep option and turn it off.

yes, that's for turning off the beep when going through menu items. But we are talking about the beeps when you turn off the ignition warning you to remove faceplate.

There should be a setting that says warning tone in the menu.
