Default Saddlebag Speaker for Cop Bike

I love the sound of my biketronics 7.1 and BT2180 on my batwing. I have no plan or no need to upgrade it. I am content...

...till now...

I crossed to the dark side and bought a complete parts to convert my batwing to shark nose, this is where I see problem start to shimmer....With speaker hole so small and so far on shark nose I fear that I will lose the fidelity and big sound volume I experienced with my current batwing setup, so I am planning to upgrade the audio department.

I hate leg burning lower fairing so lower fairing speaker is out of question, instead I am planning to install speaker on my saddlebag lid. Problem is, I am not willing to give up my cop bike hockey puck latch for the ability to access saddlebag while sitting on the bike and all the 6X9" kit out there will definitely take the spot for the hockey puck. What is my option for good lid speaker that will clear hockey puck latch? I know V-Twin audio make compact 6.5" kit that will clear the hockey puck, but it is only 6.5", Harley also make a Boom Audio saddlebag speaker kit that I think will clear the hockey puck but the speaker come in odd size making it impossible to find a good speaker replacement (5X7" if I am not mistaken) and it's 2 ohm, I would like to run 4 ohm so I have an easy system to work with being all 4 ohm. Is there any other alternative for me? This is a long distance touring bike so saddlebag space is also precious to me....

Thanks for the advices!!

man your best bet is going to be a really good set of 6.5" cut into the top of the bag towards the front.
