Options for speakers in Lowers
I just added vented lowers to my bike and am now thinking about adding speakers. On my 2008 EG, I had stock HK radio modified by Iron Cross for amp outputs, an ARC amp, J&M speakers and it worked well. On this bike 2010 SESG, I have stock HK Radio, Hogtunes 24.2 amp, hogtunes 902.2 speakers and hogpod tweeters. It sounds good but thought I might as well add speakers in the lowers since I really don't use that storage space. Here are the options I am thinking about. Let me know what you think and any comments if you have tried either or both. I am not really looking for a top of the line sound system just want good tunes for riding. Thanks
Option 1: Replace the HT 24.2 amp with a HT 40.4 four channel amp, add CVO speaker pods to the lowers with some good speakers and CVO grill covers. I know I could paint the CVO speaker pods to match. I read the other thread about doing this.
Option 2: Replace amp as above but just drop in the Hogtunes 7" Lower Woofer kit. http://www.hogtunes.com/products/pro.../06-newer.html
What is your experience with similar options?

As Sean William Scott said in The Rundown, "I'll take option C"
woofers are useless on a bike once moving. many people who have gone the route of 10" and dare I say it, 12" found that out the expensive way.
2 PBR300x2 amps (1 for fairing, 1 for lowers)
2 Titan II 7.1" or Titan II 6.5" in the fairing
2 Titan II 6.5" in the lowers
If you want something plug n play, you're better off with a BT or J&M 4 channel amp
