Add passenger communications to Rider communications kit
Hey, sorry if this has been covered somewhere else in the forum, I did a search and could not find a specific answer to my question. I am buying my brother's 2010 FLHX and he added the Boom! Audio Communications Switch Kit (P/N:77173-08). I need to add a communications switch for my wife to the existing switch. I would rather not buy a $399 kit (P/N: 77107-09) just to waste 3/4 of the kit. Is there a way I can add a passengers switch (much like the one in the 77107-09 kit) without breaking the bank? Has anyone had experience doing this, if so, how did you do it? Any and all information would be helpful.
Thanks, Steve
Thanks, Steve

But if it helps you any, I have a pair of pods with the controls in them from my 12 FLHTK. I would assume from there you would need only a wiring harness. $75 shipped to you in the US.

What do you mean "Pods" and do you know the part number for them? I'm new to Harley Davidson so excuse my lack of lingo. I think if I buy a passenger headset harness (P/N 76440-06), a switch and harness assembly (P/N 77133-09) and an audio system wiring harness (P/N 70169-06a) that I should be able to complete the project. Which is exactly what you have (had) on your FLHTK.

Call and talk to John directly and he'll point you in the right direction.
They'll have all you need and it will probably be wireless to boot!
