Default Another speaker question

I have a 2007 flhx fixing to put a painted inner fairing on so thinking about upgrading the fairing speakers. I have read all the other threads but havent really seen what I am looking for. Most likely sticking with the stock head unit should I add amps if so what speakers and amps would yall recommend? I only have the fairing speakers and prolly wont be adding anymore in the future.

Rockford Fosgate PBR 300/2 amp , and Biketronics 7.1 fairing speakers seem to be the best bet for a 2 speaker set-up.

I am also wondering if there is a fm booster I can put in. I have the J&M fairing antenna it does work a lil better than stock. But still doesnt pick up many stations unless I am riding in town.

I am not sure. I would ask Ultranutz or GP. Everything I have done was thru Ultranutz's expertise. He is a great guy and very helpful. And GP knows his stuff to. They will lead you in the right direction

BEST performing 2 speaker and amp set-up for the $$$ spent here http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....AK-HC06-1802SP ,,,,,,,

BEST performing 2 speakers and amp, regardless of price for StreetGlide here http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....=HCRK-7252-RXX ,,,,,,, http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....ctID=HCRK-GRTM ,,,,,, http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....=JAMP-250HC06P ,,,,,,

either system will significantly outperform the Biketronics 7.1s/amp in both volume on the highway along with bass/treble performance ,,,,,

I hate to drag back the past, but I thought we were gonna get a side by side test to ensure they are "the best performing speakers" and to add "regardless of price". That may be off.....

Just sayin......

PBR 300x2 and Bk 7.1's. It's what I'm running and it sounds great. Now that being said just ordered a 2nd PBR 300x2 and pioneer 6x9's to drop into my new hog tunes lids that are out getting painted.

rerb95 ,,,,,,

I did that exact test J&M ROKKERs vs B/T 7.1s ,,,,, the difference was stunning in favor of the J&M ROKKERs ,,,,, even our 7.25" performance series speakers and 90w RMS amps will outperform the B/Ts 7.1s ,,,,,,,

but it turned into such a name calling event here on the forum, all the threads were deleted ,,,,,

I still have all of the photos and data if anyone cares ,,, send email to john@jmcorp.com ,,,,,
