all J&M speakers are warranted for 2 years right out of the box ,,,,,,
in addition, they are covered to the original purchaser for life ,,,,,,
didn't you just ask me this same question a few months ago or do I have you confused with someone else ?

I ordered the J&M set up today I will let yall know my opinion after I put it in. J&M is a sponser here so that along with the plug and play setup and the mounts already being included so I dont have to fab them help with the choice. I also looked at the reviews and personal comparisons on you tube. Now seeing they are lifetime warrantied to the original owner is also good to know.

J&M Corporation warrants each new product it manufactures to be free from defective materials and workmanship. J&M agrees to remedy any such defect or replace the unit (at our option), provided the unit is delivered to us, intact, with all transportation charges prepaid to our factory, for a period of two (2) years from date of sale to the original purchaser. The provisions of this warranty shall not apply to any unit which has been subjected to misuse, neglect, incorrect mechanical or electrical installation, unauthorized modifications, accidents, nor to units which have been repaired or altered outside of our factory.
Not sure about DLIMITED but I have seen this question asked before, and yes you gave the same answer. My question is why don't you change the warranty in writing( see above) to match the lifetime warranty you say that the original owner has? Reading above it still says two years. Not picking on you just asking??

I have been in this business for 36 years, and if J&M were to offer just a standard lifetime warranty in writing, certain riders would go to the swap meet, ebay, ((the list is long)) to get their hands on any set of speakers they could send to J&M for new ones, to be replaced under warranty ,,,,,,
that is just the nature of things ,,,,,,,
soooo what works best, is our two year warranty in writing, good for any speaker that is sent to us, we don't even generally need to see a sales receipt ,,,,,
then past the two years, we just need to see a legitimate sales receipt showing that the person is the original purchaser of the speakers ,,,,,,,,
doesn't matter if they are the speakers we offer for the Harleys, the Gold Wings etc ,,,, it is all the same ,,,,,, and this system works well for the majority of our customers ,,,,,,

Yes that makes sense, and I am sure that you provide this service sense you have said you do. How do you know the age of a speaker? Is there a date stamp on them? That is a great warranty, it's just not in writing. Sense I am not in your line of business I would not start to tell you how to run it. It's just that I see others lifetime warranty in writing and they are still in business. That gives a customer a warm and fuzzy feeling when purchasing. Different products for different people.

I can generally tell you within a 10 month window, exactly when each model speaker we have ever made was offered and sold ,,,,,,,
and those that "really" know how to run a business like J&M, also know that warranty is not an exact science, regardless of what is or is not in writing ,,,,
REAL customer service is much more than what is written on a piece of paper ,,,,

John, I hate even to comment ..... But I'm going to anyway against my better judgement. You personally can tell within a 10 month period when a particular speaker was made and sold? Do tell.... I could see the made statement but the sold? Not buying it. I know your here to sell speakers and make money for your company, but I personally am tired of coming on he and listening to you spew that "J&M speakers are the BEST speakers at any price range". Not saying that your speakers aren't ok. But to say they are the best at any price range is your personal opinion or a bold faced lie. At times when you post a scroll right over your posts because they all say the same thing... People on this forum are asking for advice from one member about a particular speaker and then out of no where he comes JMJohn posting how J&M speakers are this or that and can do this or that... I find it absolutely interesting that the owners of other companies for instance Hog Tunes or Biketronics just to name a few are NOT on this forum pushing their products, they sell themselves. Ugh, just tired of hearing nonsense. If your speakers guaranteed for life then put that in writing or it isn't the case....I wish it was warm enough to go for a ride cause this is bothering me.... That's is all! Just my .02
