Default Suggestions for lid speaker covers

Does anyone have any suggestions for something to cover Hogtunes lids in case of rain? I'm adding the lids and I have a bike cover but was hoping there was something like these http://www.hogcovers.com/boom-buddies for Hogtunes.

I know a guy that carries a roll of plastic wrap with him. If he gets stuck in the rain he wraps the lids. He claims no worries and works great.... I'm doubtful of this....

Why not just get speakers that can handle the rain and not worry about it?

There's only two I know of that will fit the Hogtunes lids and remain weather-tight. The Hogtunes 6x9 and the Biketronics 6x9's. Never heard the Hogtunes, and the Biketronics are expensive.

If you want to stick the Pioneer's, which are a great sounding speaker, you could try something like this. Another member here has a set on the way.

I'm that member and got them the other day. They are constructed very good and will work perfect. Well worth the money.

I just started a thread on them Boom Buddies asking if anybody had used them and got no responses, anyway I called and asked if they would work with our hogtune lids and was told they would not work. They will only work with the HD lids was what I was told. So I am also looking at the leather type lid bra. , I also installed the pioneers

I want something that's fairly easy to slip on. For me it's more to cover up the speakers if I happen to be somewhere and the rain starts while I'm parked. Do the ones you got attach with Velcro under the lid? How's the fit? Real tight?

I wonder why? the lids are constructed to the same physical parameters.
