Default speaker bag lid security....

after installing speaker lids whats a good way to prevent them from being stolen......wondering what you guys are using. thought about a carriage bolt with wing nut inside bag when locked.....input

Put a honda bike cover on it.

how are they getting to the hinge if the bag is locked. I think your worrying to much. put the bolts in to replace the dezu fasteners and lock your bags.

thought you could pop the bolts even if it was locked

Bro!! where are you parking your bike that you are more concerned of the speakers getting stolen and not the give? In my opinion the standard lock is fine. Also i haven't heard too many speakers getting stolen only bikes.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

The Pioneers are $70 a pair.........I'm not spending any money beyond the factory lock set , to protect them.......If someone wants your stuff, it doesn't matter what you do......

Go to the hardware store and replicate the Brukus kit...runs around $5 for the clips and star bolts + bit.
