Shorty antennas that work
I have a 13 Limited with the stock antennas I'd like to put something shorter on for looks.I never use the CB and rarely use the FM radio (when my Ipod is dead),however I hate the idea of having junk on my bike that doesn't do anything.I'm not interested in a hidden antenna inside the fairing.I've seen a few Ultras and Limiteds with the antennas yanked off I think it looks terrible because the mounting points are built into the tour pack. There has to be some short antennas out there that look good and work.I'm not even saying they have to work as good as stock they just need to work.

A lot go to their local auto parts store and get something like the rubber duckie antenna as a replacement. Personally I don't like them as after a few miles the get the bent over look from the wind. Have you thought about cutting down your stock antennas? I've never done it but it may be possible and you should have a better look.
Of course, anytime you shorten antennas, your reception is going to suffer.

I use the Harley shorty and haven't experienced any reduction in reception. Harley has them for both AM/FM and CB.
