No really a problem, I'm just curious as to why.

When listening to a CD and the bike is shut down, it used to resume playing the CD upon start up. Now it reverts back to the radio about 90% of the time. About 10%, the CD will play.

Mine does the same thing on cd it will stay on aux if I have the satelite radio playing before and turn it back on.

 

Voltage spike / drop during the ignition cycle will cause this.
More prevalent in units with software below 8.19

 

Thanks. I have v8.25 on a 2012, but if it's not a sign of a problem, no worries. At least I'm not going crazy.
