Ok thanks UN that was what I was wondering if the 6.5" would be enough in the bags. So the 6 x 9's would have much better bass?

no question sir.
Take a look at the new HT lids and the Pioneer TS-D6902R combination. Get a nice little amp to drive those speakers above 100w and you'll be real happy with that.

Pioneer in the lids or mounted in the bag? I'm looking for speakers from side the bag and also in the lids.... Suggestions?

if you're asking whether to mount them in the lids or the inside of the bags, I prefer the lids.
if you're asking whether to use the Pioneer's in 1 or both locations in the bag, ABSOLUTELY!

That's what I was thinking of doing. BT. Speakers in the lids and Pioneer in the sides. Since I opted to get the stretched bags from Eastern Performance, I won't mind drilling the holes for them.

Does BT or anyone else make an adapter for the stock HD CVO lids to get a 6x9 in them?
