Has anyone made an amp rack to use with HawgWired adapter. if so, any measurements yall want to share? I have a BT4180 sitting on top of the radio, which "works" but getting the amp on something study sure would help with Piece of mind, especially since the head unit is suspended using just the sleeve and the back bolt.

hmm.. what kind of install kit did you use?

the BT kits and HW kits use the 4 side screws of the stock radio to vertical fairing brackets to secure the head units.

 

I used the Hawg Wired Install Kit:


And was looking for something more... "sturdy", than the top of the radio. as the amp hangs off about an inch and a half

 

Ended up using industrial grade Velcro... dug into it last night... hasn't moved a n inch... or mm for that matter...
