CB on 2014 Street Glide

Gordon- no worries, hopefully you get some better help at the dealer. [edit] Crap, that was Bill's post above, I searched but so far no luck on the antenna relocation kit for the 14's. I installed the hidden CB and AM/FM antenna the other day but time and today's weather haven't permitted a ride or test.

Street Glide Special
For those that have added the CB, could you tell me if you had to have the 6.5 stereo flashed? I installed the CB and it works good without flash but I do notice that when I talk into the headset, I am unable to hear my own voice. I know on my 2010 sttreet glide, I was able to hear my own voice thru the headset and like this feature as I can tell how loud or quiet I am talking.
Anyone who has added the CB, Can you hear your voice while talking?
Thanks.

Scott14SG,
Thanks for taking this project on. I was the OP, and FINALLY today got the time to do the install! My CB works great (tested it w/hubby's Ultra an hour ago). Hubby also fashioned a bracket to mount the CB antenna, and the angle and location look identical to the FM antenna. Your instructions helped me a great deal.

I have the Boom 4.3 model radio on my 2014 Street Glide. I had the shop add the headset plug. They flashed the radio, and it works great! My phone is connected via Bluetooth and I can make and receive phone calls wirelessly on it. I'm very happy with the install and the functionality, except . . . I would like the CB module added to use for bike-to-bike comms. The techs at the dealership don't think the mod can be added to the 4.3 model radio, but they also said this stuff is so new they don't have all the answers. The only option they gave me is to upgrade to the 6.5 model radio and add the cb module - they quoted the parts and labor to be about $2400. I don't want to spend that much just to get CB functionality. Do any of you on the forum know if the cb module can be added to the 4.3 radio?
