The P&A catalog says you must have the 6.5 model radio to add Sirius XM to your bike.

 

I added a CB to my 2014 Ultra. It was no where near $1700.00 but I don't have the exact price . The upgrade was done to my 4.3 and it works fine.

The only issue is hand held mics can no longer be used.

 

That's good to know. I ordered the rest of the parts I need, they should be here in a week. I was a little worried, but from studying the wiring diagrams and actual bike wiring, it HAS to work! Since I only ride with a helmet, the handheld mic won't be an issue for me.

Did you have to have the dealer flash the CB module to get it to work, or was it just Plug-n-Play? Also, did you have to buy the whole right hand switch unit for your bike?

 

I was given the same information from the dealer that the CB could not be added to a 4.3 radio. Just got off the phone with Moco and was told that it can be added . The part # that UltraNutz provided are correct. The antenna number that they gave me 76386-09A is for a shorty mast and can't be right. Anyone have the exact antenna part number for the 2014? AL

 

Part# I ordered was 76410-09, CB Antenna Kit, Frame Mount.

 

hwy17v- when you get all the parts and do the install take a few pictures and post up how it went, I've got a '14 as well and was looking into adding the CB module for a long trip next summer.

Still waiting on the right hand switch module, it's backordered from the factory. The new estimated delivery date is 13 December. Right now that's all I lack to be able to do the install. I will definitely take pictures and post them.

Lenae- I just picked up a lighted switch pack, part #71500248 and much to my surprise the right side housing comes with the PTT switch installed. Just in case you got tired of waiting on a back ordered part.

Edit: added picture of installed switch lit up and screen when the PTT was pushed.

hey Scott and HWY I too want to do a CB install with my 4.3.....have sent pm to HBSMOKY to ask which dealer he used ....to ....see if my local dealer will make the contact to get the install info.......really interested in how it goes HWY

 

This mount will NOT work on the new 2014's. Here's the pictures as I have already installed my CB module and was going to put the antenna on, 76410-09 fits a ROUND frame rail.

1st picture is the part number above bracket, 2nd picture is the one on my bike (2014) so off to the dealer tomorrow to see if I can get a '14 bracket.
