I now have the Hogtunes lids installed with the pioneer TS-E6902i's and the soundstream amp, initial views so far are, WOW, sound is excellent, the quality of these pioneers are amazing! and that was with a generic crappy 3.5mm jack to phono connector i had laying around for a video camera (so 3 connectors instead of 2!)

New lead now ordered but question is what should i have the gain and other controls set to? to get the best sound from the amp, sorry its been a long time since i did large car audio set ups and my amp knowledge has all but left me, gain is currently set at about 50%.

awesome glad to see you got it all together....

for the gains you follow the same principle listed in the sticky at the top of the forum.

basically set your bass/treble/eq all flat on the source
set gains on amp all the way to the left
turn source unit up until you hear distortion (which you probably won't) then back it down a bit
if no distortion heard set volume of source to 3/4 volume
now turn gains up til you hear distortion and back it down a bit from there
