Not sure if it's the ss nano pn4.52 amp overdriving the right side speaker or if it's just coincidence that the same side speaker died a second time.
Interesting as the right (throttle) side front speaker had the most deformation on my first set of mm651s. I am on my second set and again the front right speaker is giving signs of going bad (cutting in and out).
Didn't even try the MM651's? You have them, might as well see if they work for you.
I had 2 sets, one from Amazon and yours, the ones I installed from amazon blew out. I didn't get on them the first few days then with gains set at 10 bam, blown!.....
really dissapointed how these polks are reacting to these setups as of lately. Mine are still going strong and since I'm redoing everything audio on my bike, the polks are going in my truck on a SS PN2.350d
Just installed a Memphis Audio bluetooth system on my Roadking with Memphis marine speakers, sounds great !! If you are not liking the Polk, give Memphis a try.
Wasn't too sure about cutting holes in my saddlebags, but they are growing on me and work nice up to. 65 mph. Wind noise starts to overpower at 70.
I have a Fosgate PBR300x4 with the front and rear gains set at 5 and the AMP set to HP. I installed the Fosgate Power Series 6.5 in the front and 5.25 in the tourpak pods. So far I have been very happy with the sound quality and volume level at highway speed. Their probably not in the same league at the BT speakers, but for under $100 it has worked out well.
