Polk MM651's did fine!

the specs on the kicker are
50x2 @ 2 ohm
25x2 @ 4 ohm
SNR - 85db (no idea how this is measured)
specs on RF amp are
150x2 @ 2 ohm
100x2 @ 4 ohm
SNR - >80db 1 watt, 1 meter, 4 ohms
The power alone tells you the answer to your question though. More power = less adjustment "up" on the gains as well as the volume control so less distortion.

I just installed 2 MM651's in the faring with the polifill backing. Gain is set at 10 and xover on amp is set to full (middle slide). Waiting for my lower speaker pods to come, get them painted black and installed..... Thanks to UN and BG for all their help on the instal..... My speakers are 4000 and 6000, so I will take it slow for the first few weeks to break them in correctly...

Found out the hard way, you need to set the xover on HP, not FP.
I'm Sure Ultra will chime in.

Well, just an update after putting 5000 miles on the MM651's and RF PBR300x2 without any problems. Zero, zip, zilch, nada. I do switch the eq setting on the JVC head unit to "flat" when doing long hauls on the tarmac at above 55 mph. Can't hear the bass anyway, and can turn it up louder without any distortion. BTW, I am still on FP for my setting. A big thanks to Ultra for the assistance on my set-up.
