Question about remote turn-on wire and gain setup
Hi, I have a 2009 Ultra Glide and I'm going to upgrade the music department. I bought all these components (after having read a lot of threads):
- Alpine IDA-X100M marine media center (for less then Boom Ipod module...)
- Hawg Wired installing kit with handlebar controls module
- Arc Audio 125.2BX2 amp
- 4 Polk Audio Dxi650
- Hawg Wired speakers adapters
Now I'm going to install all, but I have a question about amp connection:
- it has three connections: power, ground and turn-on. Power and ground have to be connected to battery and frame. The turn-on input could be connected in parallel with the ignition input on the radio/Hawg wired module or it has to be connected to a switched power like lighter?
Many thanks, Stefano.

My real problem is that the volume range is only in the last 1/4 of total range, untill you reach 3/4 of volume you hear nothing.
I found some other HDforum's user has the same problem

Could it be the RCA input of the ARC 125.2? Should I try the high level inputs?
