Default Amp for new speakers

Ok! So I was talked into going with the HD Boom speakers for my 2012 FLHTK to improve my sound while riding. The question I have now is what amp should I go with.
After reading all the threads on the forums here and other web sites their doesn't seem to be a clear cut answer.
I actually wish now I would of waited on the speakers till I decided what amp to go with.
I just really want good sound and clarity while riding down the road, especially when I crank it.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

If you didn't open the BOOM speakers,.............return them. If not,.........I don't know how much power they can handle, before failure. Did you buy front & rear speakers ??

You need an amp that is 2 ohm stable. The SS amp would fit the bill, but you will probably blow the speakers......

Yes, I bought front and rear speakers, supposed to be real good speakers the HD Booms, but reading the threads it sounds like I just blew $300 bucks.
I like the sound of the polls, and the J&M's but I read just as much negatives on them also. So what's a newbie to do.

I really didn't want to spend more than $800 on the complete system, but looks like I might have to if these speakers don't hold.

So again, what would be a really good amp, that handles 2 ohms per speaker, and does't break the bank?

you'd be best going with something like the Alpine KTP445U with those speakers. It's 4 channel, 2 ohm and enough power to drive those speakers. Anything more than that and the speakers will be toast.

The BA HD CRAP speakers are 60w max speakers.

My Boston Acoustics get mad when you call the BOOM AUDIO..........BA's !! Especially when you say they only handle 60 watts.

Boom Audio makes a plug and play amp... I'm sure it was designed for those speakers... But I think it runs about $400
