Which first? Amp or speakers?
I'm going to get the Soundstream PN2.350D and the Polk MM651 for my '11 SG. Thing is I can only get one at a time! Which one should I do first? Will the stock speakers last with the amp pushing them or will the explode? I'm thinking the 651's first but just seeking some input...Thanks!

Definitely speakers.
get em in and all set - that's the easier part anyway. Adding the power under tank and wiring up the amp is the more time intensive part. (especially if you are **** retentive and want clean wiring).
Speakers are almost a drop in. Pointing out the obvious, but don't forget the adapter rings. Dragonfly has a small discount i believe for forum members so save yourself a couple $ there.
The fairing comes off in just a couple minutes - two trips into it shouldn't really be much of an issue.
Also don't forget the polyfill!

There are good deals out there on the amps, I just have to match up the numbers when the time comes.

so you are telling me that if I hook up my 150 rms amp to my stock say 40 rms (I don't know the exact #) speakers, and then I leave my gain all the way down on the amp but I crank my volume up while going 65 down the hwy, the speakers will not blow! I truly doubt that will be the case! Why not, not blow up your stock speakers and try to sell them for say 20 bucks instead of over powering them with an amp? there is a reason people upgrade the speakers when they buy amps!

Lower wattage amps require more volume control. More volume control means more distortion. It's ALWAYS better to have too much power than not enough and using comon sense in these situations with gain and volume settings is your friend.
