Default Eliminating rear Speakers 2013 Ultra

I want to remove the rear speakers from my Ultra. The physical part is easy. What I am concerned with is how do I compensate for this with the radio head unit so as not to cause a problem there. Any experts got any ideas.

Thx

not sure what you mean by compensate but if you remove the rear speakers, nothing will happen to the stock radio.. it just won't be playing rears. Make sure to tape of or isolate those rear speaker wires so they don't short out..

I always thought that you needed a load (created by the speakers) or you could damage an amplifier. Not true?

technically speaking, if you unplug speakers from an amp then run a 1v peak to peak signal through the amp for a long time, the amp would get damaged. Doing what you're doing will NOT hurt an amp or a head unit.

So much incorrect BS floating around on the internet these days...
