Default lower fairing speaker pods

I just picked up some mutazu lowers. I am looking for some 5.25 speaker pods. Where is the best place to get them and what do I need for vented lowers?@

dang.. never heard of these folks but..

$145 for a set of vented lowers that I have to assemble in vivid black already. That's a steal...
$168 for a batwing outer fairing painted vivid black.
$290 for a road glide outer fairing painted vivid black.

anyways, your best bet is to get the HD CVO pods. They're about $40 each. Check LSHD1.COM

crazy pricing.

The interesting thing is the matching CVO grills are actually more expensive than the pods themselves.

yep.. typical HD.

Pod - $34
Grill - $38
4 screws - $1.00 each
wiring harness for each pod - $8

so you're looking at $84 per pod not including paint.

Totally worth it though. If you have a Vivid Black scooter, a DIY paint job can be done if you're up for it.

changed your mugshot I see..

yeah I'd think they were worth it however down here, it's too damned hot to ride with lowers and really never cold enough to wish you had them...

Mugshot is from last weekend in DC. Working the Pentagon parking lot for Rolling Thunder. I'm sure glad I have the lowers, the ride out there was terrible. Torrential rains and only 38* I was waiting for the sleet to start when we were in Ohio...

I picked up a pair of the Mutazu lowers, damn nice quality for a very low price! I'm waiting on a pair of CVO speaker pods I ordered from Surdyke, I'm putting a pair of Polk MM6501 components in them (tweeters are going in my Hogpod tweeter bar).
