don't use the pads.. they're worthless.. use polyfil to wrap the speakers like a cotton ball.

Polyfil can be picked up at Walmart in the crafts section for $15

what ever you do dont pack the speaker. my wife told me exactly what it is and it comes in sheets or rolls. so im gonna assume if you tape one end to the speaker and then wrap it around and tape the whole thing or enough it will stay that is gonna work. but basically it is the fiber stuff that you find in pillows like wadding. just google poly fil it will come up

This is what you want, just double it over so it's about an inch thick and cut a 12"x12" square for each side. Then just tuck it neatly around the speaker.

that is correct. do as rfberg says and cut a piece about 12x12 and tuck it tightly around the fairing speaker. No need to secure it as the fairing will hold it in place.
