Default Amps Amps and more Amps!!!

Well I decided I'm going to stick with HAT's for speakers all around but I can't decide if its better to run a 4 channel or a 2 channel amp to power all four speakers up front? The 2 amps in question are the PBR300X2 or the SSPN4.520D I hear nothing but good things about the RF but it seems the SS gets some bad raps like overall sound qaulity, fm issues, maybe not made as well? Is one gonna give me more power to each speaker than the other? ARRG!!!

no issues with SQ on the PN4.520D.. that's the first I've heard of that.

FM issues yes...

Sound quality issues with the SS amp? I just installed one to replace the PBR300X2 I've had for awhile. My initial impressions are the SS amp has quite a bit more headroom than the RF amp. Which equates to more "punch" as UN has been saying.

So your saying the SS has more power? Quote Headroom? Does it have more low end bass than the RF? As for sound qaulity Ive spoke to people who have had both and they seem to say the RF sounded better overall than the SS I just wish I could hear it for myself.......And which one of the 2 will give more power to each speaker?

It seems you're more interested in power than SQ but I as others have no concerns on SQ or power. As far as bass, neither amp or any amp is going to help at speeds of 45 and higher. I had the RF and replaced it with the SS4.520 with no regrets.

without a doubt, yes it sounds better than the 300x2.
