You can't put 6X9's in a factory fairing...........that's what saddlebags are for !!!

I ran across an inner faring that relocated the gauges to allow for 6x9 installation in the batwing fairing. I posted it somewhere in the audio forum a while back.

As for your speaker setup;

I ran my fairing speakers on the front channel of the PN4.520D and the rear pods and 6x9 lids on the rear channel wired in parallel with no problems. With that said, it's not recommended, but then I never go with the grain. Ran fine for many weeks while I decided I didn't like the Cycle Sounds lids. Just got my CVO lids in yesterday so until I get time to put the PBR300x2 on the lids, I'm going to reconnect them to the rear pods again. Running at a 1.35 ohm load and never had problems with it.

initially that's what I'm putting in there. Depending on how they behave determines whether they stay or I move on to the Pioneer TS-D6902. If they Pioneers don't perform well, then I'll move on down the road to what I do know performs well, the Polk MM691.

What kind of performance gains over stock will I get running Sony DSX-210X head unit, polk mm651 in front and lower fairing, and either Polk mm691 6x9's or Pioneer TS-D6902 6x9's in the hard bags
