badazzpred. Man those Titan II 6.5" are very nice speakers. The problem I see/hear/read with most installs is the fact that people aren't driving them with enough power to make them perform.

IMO, I'd go with the PBR300x2, wire the lowers and the fairing in parallel and call it a day. That will sound great with 2 pair of these speakers in your face.

Wrap those fairing speakers with polyfil to look like a white cotton ball.

Line the lower pods with polyfil, using only enough to LINE the pods. Don't stuff it in there and don't wrap the lower speakers.

1) Arc Audio KS125.2BX mini
2) Biketronics BT2180
3) PBR300X2 or PBR300X4
4) Or maybe something else?

Whats your comparison/thoughts between the BT 7.1 and the Titan II 6.5" with a PBR300x2? I would think the 7.1 would be even better yeah/no?
and the only problem I potentially see with the rockford is I hear they tend to wanna overheat? Also If I were to buy a different amp other than swapping out my current amp BT454 for a BT2180 plus some change I would be stuck with my BT454 and or lose money which Im trying to not let happen? your thoughts please?

Thanks

the 7.1" will give you a little better bottom end (bass). For the same price as the 6.5", go for it.

The PBR300x2 is NOT the amp that heats up, that's the PBR300x4.

I see those BT454 amps being sold for $250 all day long so I don't think you'd have a problem getting rid of it. Course you're not going to get what you paid for it...

("I see those BT454 amps being sold for $250 all day long so I don't think you'd have a problem getting rid of it").

Where do you see this actually if you dont mind me asking?

So you think the PBR300X2 would be the best choice overall with the 7.1 and the titan 6.5" speakers verses an SS, BT2180, or Arc Audio amp?

what sucks is that BT amp you have is not rated for a 2 ohm load cause then you could use it to drive all 4 of your speakers.

For the $, absolutely I do think it's the better choice. However if you want to drop $450 on an amp, by all means they're great products.

Is the Massive Audio BX2 worth considering? A bit more $, but looks available at around 215-240 online.

Some specs and size:
120w RMS @ 4ohm
240w RMS @ 2ohm
Dimensions: 5"W x 6-5/16"D x 1-5/8"H

Just thought i'd throw it in the mix if it puts out more power than the Arc, 300x2, the BT474, etc.
