JL Audio XD600/6 Amp

man I'm done.. I didn't hook up the JL, only test fitted but as you know I did connect and test the Alpine PDX-V9 and was very dissatisfied with it's performance so I pulled it. I'm going back to my tried and true SS PN4.520D for my fairing and rear pod speakers and then adding the RF PBR300x2 for the lids if the damn things ever get here. LSHD1.COM might have great prices but they are the slowest company to ship. After 3 weeks I finally received the 2nd grill. No lids but I have both grills now.

- compared to the SS PN4.520D, the PDX wasn't capable of driving the Polk MM651 to the same extent. I was able to crank the headunit up to full volume and adjust gains up to .25v and still wasn't driving the speakers to a distortion level. I can't get anywhere near 2:00 position at 3/4 volume on the SS before the Polks were being over-driven.
- The 500w x 1 sub channel i found lacked power in a major way. It was barely able to drive the TS-D6902R Pioneer 6x9s unless I used the bass-boost **** (RUX) and then it went to distortion really quick.
