LOST - Need Help - SS- PN4.520D
The instructions I'm following state the items below, but the PN520D amp I got doesn't have any speaker harness ?
8. On the crossovers in the fairing there is a set of wires coming out the bottom of it. The wire with the white stripe is your positive (+) wire and the other is negative.
9. Connect the left crossover black/white wire to the green/black wire on the PN4.520D speaker harness.

Connect the right crossover black/white wire to the violet wire on the PN4.520Dspeaker
harness.

Couple Things
So I am trying the ear test to set gains, but it says with them all the way down, and bass / treble at half to turn it up until you hear distortion. Maybe its me but I've tried several songs and can turn it all the way up without distortion ?
I have the gains right aroung 10' o'clock, and things seem ok, but I may try and get out my MM..
Also, the back speakers (polk mm651), seem to have little protection with the grills they come with. Any reason I should be concerned ?
Final Thought - I hope the neighbors don't mind me fiddlin on a Sunday afternoon.... WOWOW these babies are pushing some noise !!

Kind of unusual for a stock head unit to not have distortion but it is possible. When this happens, I back the volume down to 3/4 and adjust gains for distortion from there.
The rear grills, I didn't really care for the looks of them so I went with the CVO grills. They fit perfect but they're not cheap. There are certainly other options out there. I understand folks have bought HAT, Polk DXI series, and other manufacturer grills off eBay to protect the speakers and gain a little better appearance. here's mine.
