Ok, I'm about to pull the trigger on some JL audio C2-600x speakers and am looking for your experiences with on-line retailers. The local authorized JL dealer is sticking pretty much at $180 + tax. Crutchfield is $180 with free shipping. Sonic Electronix ( not authorized but very reliable) will be around $160. Multiple ebay sellers have them from $100-$110 shipped. Some offer 2-3 yr in- house warranties while the cheapest is 30 days. Leaning toward one for $109 with 2 yr in- house warranty covering same as JL. Interested in your online electronic experiences..

 

IMO odds are you won't damage the speakers. Probably the elements are more likely to odd so. I did not consider wrnty with any of the equipment I purchased. That said I went with the lowest cost reseller.

I'm still shocked how inexpensive things are now.

 

Sonic Electronix has a great reputation for standing behind the products it sells. For instance, Alpine. They're not authorized but they provide the same warranty Alpine does for their products.. My experience with them over the years has been excellent and never a problem with a return of a product I wound up not needing or one that was defective or that died during use.
