My Road King Audio Setup

Thanks for the reply, I'm pretty sure the fairings are exactly the same its one the Q/D brackets that are different. DC says the HD fairing bra fits their fairing so they should all be the same.
I'm already in deep enough in buying the amp, so it's gotta go in, I'd love to see a pic of the bracket you made from the side to see how you shaped it, .

Nice work!
Few questions if you don't mind, is the power into the head unit switched or straight wired?
My head unit and amp power and ground are run to the battery. The switched wire to the HU is wired to the bikes ignition which would make it "switched".
How does the iPhone attach, USB or aux?
My iPhone can attach via USB, AUX in or Bluetooth, however I use BT. I have an external USB charing port that plugs into a factory HP plug under the seat. I've run that to the front side of the tank and it's mounted on the neck. I installed that a couple years ago to charge phone, GPS, ect. I still use that in this setup also.
Why crossovers, are you planning tweeters or subs later?
I use the x-overs that come with the MM651. I also use the high pass setting on the amp. A must-do IMO for speaker conservation. Plus you'll never hear any lower freq. from the speakers at high speed.
What would you change about this if you did it again?
Nothing. I'm very happy with the setup. The HU i use is not a popular one but I'm very happy with all it's options, specifically it's iPHone and iOS support.
